Free rider training course |

Dear resident, Motorbike riders from Huntingdon and Peterborough who are not on a full licence are being offered a free rider training course. Sadly, motorcyclists remain one of the most vulnerable road users making up 25% of road deaths. Despite representing 1% of road users. The ‘Ride Safe’ one day session is aimed at those who have passed their CBT or hold an AM or A1 licence. It is an ideal introduction course for young riders or those who regularly ride but don’t have a full licence. During the session riders will be given a classroom safety session and the chance to go on a ride-on with an expert tutor. The event is being held by Peterborough and Cambridgeshire Advanced Motorcyclists and has been funded by Cambridgeshire Police and Crime Commissioner. Myself and advanced rider and driving school instructor, PC Darren Osker, will deliver some of the education with rider tuition by PECAM. The course is designed to help riders become smoother, safer and more confident. There are 12 spaces available on a course on October 17. To book your space visit - https://pecam.org.uk/training/ridesafe Kind regards, PC AJ Boddington Casualty Reduction Officer | ||
